Creative, inspired, and anticipated, the Bokeh South Africa International Lifestyle and Fashion Film Festival, now in its sixth year, is a showcase of the world’s established and emerging filmmaking talent. This year it will take place at the V & A Waterfront in Cape Town on 9-14 July. Events run from 9 am to 9 pm daily and include free screenings, master classes, industry presentations and sponsor competitions. The Red Carpet Gala Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 13 July.

The Bokeh Fashion Film Festival, founded in 2014, is the brainchild of filmmaker and entrepreneur Adrian Lazarus. Originally a producer and later a celebrated director, he flourished to become the founder of Bokeh, considered one of the global film industry’s most celebrated annual events. Bokeh has established itself as a major platform from which to showcase established and emerging talent. Talent includes fashion experts, stylists, make-up artists, filmmakers and designers.
Sebastian Professional will provide a dry bar at the Red Carpet Gala Awards ceremony for guests to experience the limitless and fearless artistry of Sebastian. Hair stylists will demonstrate the brand’s trademark breaking through the boundaries of style and design to create fearless hair fashion.
A highlight of the festival will be the Sebastian Professional-judged award for Best Hair for Fashion Film.
