Dutchmen Leen Bergmann and Bertus Jan Rietveld are the creators of Reuzel. They started learning men’s haircutting when they were just 14 years old. With their love of classic barbering and the influences of rock ‘n roll, custom culture and its sub-cultures, it was inevitable that one day the pair would open men’s barbershop, Schorem Haarsnijder en Barbier. Schorem can mean either ‘scumbags’ or ‘bad boys’ in Dutch, but also ‘I shaved him’. Haarsnijder en Barbier means ‘haircutter and barber’.
Formulated from the collective experience of more than fifty years of barbering and grooming, there is a pomade for every type of scumbag or gentlemen and for every type of hair. Pomade choices include water-based or oil-based with medium to firm hold and in a variety of shine levels. There is truly a pomade for everyone.
